June Meeting
The June Meeting will be held at my place, where we’ll be filling the Belgian Quad barrel. We’ll taste the beers going into the barrel and discuss the recipe and process. If you haven’t been involved in the project, this is a great opportunity to see what’s happening and maybe get involved in the next one.
Date: Thursday, June 25th
Time: 7:30 PM
Location: 189 Canterbury Rd, Heathmont 3135
Cider Day Follow-Up
If you attended Cider Day, please bring any ciders you’ve made. It will be great to compare results, discuss what worked (and what didn’t), and see how everyone’s cider is progressing.
I'll have my Fire Cider on tap. I boiled 40 liters of fresh-pressed apple juice down to about 18 liters, getting a OG 1.150, and then fermented it down to 1.045. I stopped the fermentation by lowering the temperature. It’s still sweet and has 13%. ABV
Please bring a few bottles to share. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone there!
